POLICIES & PROCEDURES

COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE:

Please note that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, for your safety, we are not permitting any accompanying guests/ friends/ family into the studio. We ask that you text us on our phone number 289-456-1086 when you have arrived in your car or outside the clinic. We will be contacting you when the previous appointment before you has finished so you can enter the spa for your appointment. This will help maximize your health and safety while minimizing your exposure to others. Please note, this is a Government Mandated, mandatory protocol that we have to implement. We thank you for your patience.

We will be taking your temperature to ensure you have no fever upon arrival. 

Upon entry, we will have all clients wash their hands and/or hand sanitize.

24 hours before your appointment, we will email you a Precautionary COVID-19 Consent Form to sign to verify your health and consent to the risks of exposure from being present in our studio. Please ensure these forms have been completed prior to your appointment. Failure to complete form the day before your appointment will result in rescheduling to another date.

Please note, for the safety of yourself and othes, we will under no circumstances treat you if you present with or have had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days:

  • Fever of 38°C and greater

  • Cough

  • Sore Throat

  • Shortness of Breath

  • Difficult Breathing

  • Flu-like Symptoms (aches and pains)

  • Runny Nose & Nasal Congestion

In addition to prepare for your appointment and to limit exposure, we ask that you:

  • Use a bathroom before arrival to your appointment

​

If you have come with your own vehicle, leave your jacket and belongings in the car.

Please only bring to your appointment:

  • Cellphone

  • Keys

  • Method of Payment (Debit, VISA, Mastercard, or cash).

In addition, a $2 surcharge per appointment will be charged if you arrive to your appointment without PPE, in which one will be provided to you. We thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Our studios are open between 8am and 5:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday by appointment only. We do not accept drop-in appointments.

Upon booking your appointment, you will be required to secure your appointment with a $50 non-refundable deposit via Electronic Bank Transfer.  This deposit will be used towards your treatment.

To book your appointment, we ask that you use our online booking system. We prefer not to book appointments over email or social media direct message (Instagram, Facebook) for organizational purposes.

LUMEELASHES POLICIES:

​

Please allow yourself anywhere from 1 hr and 15 minutes to 3.5hrs to complete full set/ fill procedures - time is solely based on the amount of natural lashes you have and what it is you are scheduling. 

Allergies and skin sensitivities are extremely rare, if you think you may have a reaction or are weary please schedule a Patch Test, as your safety is of utmost importance. Individual response to the product ingredients may differ. If you experience any discomfort of concern during the procedure, please advise immediately. All treatment products and instruments are handled with the greatest care to conduct a hygienic and safe service, it is still possible to experience eye irritation that could possibly lead to eye irritation or infection. However, LumeeLashes or any of the employees, owners or practitioners are not responsible for any ill effects that may result from partaking in this optional cosmetic service. 
If after any appointment, I feel burning, itching, discomfort to the eye or present swelling of the eyelids, I understand it is my own responsibility to seek medical help from an ophthalmologist at my own expense without delay.

CANCELLATION POLICY
I understand things happen and  life gets hectic. However, in the event of a short notice cancellation (less than 24 hrs in advance of your scheduled appointment time), you will be required to pay 50% of your service fee before scheduling another appointment. If you are unable to make it, please contact me as soon as possible. 

​

LATE ARRIVALS
Please note, I reserve your appointment time especially for you. If you are late for your appointment, you are taking away from your allotted appointment time. Your appointment will not be extended, you will be offered the remainder of your time slot, which will end on time according to the originally booked time slot and will be charged in full as if you showed up on time. Out of respect and consideration for your eyelash artist and other customers, please do your best to be on time.

NO-SHOW POLICY
Your appointment time is especially reserved for you. We kindly ask that you please notify us if you need to cancel, so we are able to make your time slot available to other clients. A NO-SHOW is considered as either not showing up for your appointment at all, or contacting AFTER  appointment start time. Please note, if you contact AFTER the start time and reschedule, you will still be charged the no-show fee, as now you are taking 2 time slots instead of one. If you are unable to make your appointment without cancelling, you will be required to pay 50% of your service fee before being able to schedule another appointment.

FILL POLICY
A fill is usually scheduled within 2-4 weeks from your last appointment which consists of "filling" up to 50% of extension loss due to natural lash shedding. In order for the appointment to be considered a fill, a minimum of 35 to 60 extensions should be remaining, as the average person has 90-120 natural lashes per eye.

For your appointment to be considered a fill, you must have at least 2/5 of the original set remaining. As long as you receive a fill within 2-4 weeks and maintain 40-50% of your last application, your appointment will be treated as a fill, otherwise, less than 40%  of extensions will result in a full set, and a full set price.

We will not be accepting fills past the 4 week mark, as that will result in a full set and is not healthy for your natural lashes. Your lashes may still look great, but as your natural lashes grow the weight distribution of the extension on your natural lash becomes top heavy. This can cause breakage or premature shedding of your natural lash. This is why maintenance is preferred at the 3 week mark, however some lash lines have a slower cycle than others, in which they can go 4 weeks.

 

NOTE: NOT EVERYONE CAN GO THAT LONG.


If grown out extensions are left on and breakage continues to occur repeatedly, the natural lash may stop growing back. This will result in permanent hair loss and we won't be able to fill up your lashes the way we used to. 
Maintenance is just as important as Cleansing.

REMOVAL POLICY
It is very rare, but possible to develop an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions from the adhesive used during application, At first instance you notice any reaction(s), contact me immediately (text 2894561086). Removal due to an allergic reaction, and within 48 hours of application, will not be charged. Over 48 hours, regular removal fee applicable.

REFUNDS

We do not accept returns or refunds on any lash cleanser products or lash services. Please contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
